North Star Elementary
North Star is the newest elementary school in Bend, Oregon. Opening the doors in 2019, the prototype has 24 classrooms, an open commons/cafeteria area, a dedicated gym and collaborative spaces for instruction. Mindy Lyman, owner of A.L.L. Interiors, provided interior design, construction documents and specifications while a designer at BLRB architects. Mindy worked closely with the school district to select the colorful interiors and developed a custom acoustic wood panel saving the district thousands from the prototype model.
